Recently we had another awesome time over at the Lothian Chambers on the Royal Mile. This time with Ollie and Sam Taylor at their registry. We had an absolute blast at this vintage vegan extravaganza (catered by the amazing vegan/vegetarian foodies Hendersons). We got the opportunity to do some absolutely wicked portraits up and down the Royal Mile of course as well. One of our portrait speciality locations now lol. Ollie and Sam are from opposite sides of the world and met whilst travelling. Ollie is from Epsom, England and Sam is from Oz. Now they're well an truly settled in Auld Reekie. We can't wait to share all our favourite photos in a more expansive blog post but for now have a wee feast at this incredible international family wedding here in the Scottish capital. Check out the mini Kelpies statue!!! The perks of being an Edinburgh wedding photographer.
This is a wee sneak peak at the wedding of Yvonne and Graham. It's very nice when you get to work with incredible people like we do day in and day out but it's especially nice when you have a pre-existing relationship with them. Graham and I have been friends since Academy and were even in the same form class for a number of years. I'd not seen Graham in ages and one day he got in touch to say not only was he getting married but that he'd like Katie and I to shoot his wedding. We were over the moon! Plus they were getting married in Aberdeenshire where Katie and I are originally from. Stunning scenery and familiar faces. Plus we got to shoot at the amazing Banchory Lodge Hotel which is always a pleasure! Wedding photography in this part of the world never ceases to provide some amazing opportunities for us.
What an absolute joy start to finish. We'll post a proper breakdown of the day with a bigger gallery shortly - promise! We're just now catching up on all our blogging from 2015. Getting very nostalgic!
