“All the world's a stage.” ― William Shakespeare, As You Like It Being that we're human beings we are all at some point or another looking for moments of intimacy. That can be a moment of love and affection between a couple of love birds or it can simply be a stolen moment of solitary reflection on your lunch hour in the park. We thrive on capturing those moments in our particular line of work. Our own love affair began with photography and it's something that has brought us, as a couple, closer together. It's something we love to share and a 365 project seems to be the most concentrated way of doing so. Every day we'll be sharing a 'Stolen Moment' with you here on our blog and on our designated 365 project page. The streets, closes and halls of Edinburgh are pure theatre and we can't wait to share some of the beauty, some of the love and some of the intimacy with you. We present our first Stolen Moment - 1/365

Katie and I were recently talking about wedding photographers as we are looking for one ourselves. It is so essential for client and photographer to both get what they need out of the day. The essence of that is good rapport and communication. We've been to a couple of weddings, where we have not even been the photographer, where it's been awkward and even strained between the photographer and the client, or at least the client's family. Then we read this Buzzfeed article which pretty accurately sums up a lot of the things we'd been talking about. Click the link above to view the article. ;-)
Katie and I had a wonderful time Sunday evening taking pictures of the end-of-festival fireworks. Between the 5000 other photographers and tourists there along with the rain it was pure romance! Edinburgh, truly is one of the most beautiful cities in the entire world and another gift of a night out with the camera and my beautiful partner. It was such a nice night. I think we're going to make this into something of a tradition. Tapas then fireworks and photography. We've had a wonderful response on Facebook page and our personal timelines so we thought it only fair to share the whole album from Sunday night with all our beautiful blogmates. If anybody wants any prints just give us a PM on the website contact form or the Facebook page.
