At Matt.E.Photography we love to tell a story, whether the chapter be wedding, maternity, new born or family we love it! Lucky for us we got to join Tim, Channa and Mila at this part of their story. Mila is a beautiful, pigtailed (which somehow stayed in for the whole shoot!) 21 month old girl who is an adventurer at heart and wears sparkly shoes whilst doing it.
The Triumphant Tale of Captain Jack Sparrow and Count Otto Von Stumpy-Legs #truestory #petphotography
So we were very lucky the other week to have a morning out on Leith Links with the lovely Julie and her two beautiful boys the aforementioned Captain Jack Sparrow and his new brother in paws - Count Otto Von Stumpy Legs. Two distinguished gentlemen who have found a wonderful home with Julie and her partner. As you can see from the pictures their surplus of years has in no way slowed them down. Both Jack and Otto are mature rescues who have had the very good fortune to land with a good family. When they're not running the links and parks of Edinburgh they are holidaying with their Mum and Dad down in Dumfries on the weekends. Just goes to show re-homing of a couple of gentle gentleman like Otto and Jack can be hugely rewarding for both pooch and owner.
Otto and Jack are our first pet shoot this festive period booked with our EDCH pet session offer. We're very much looking forward to sharing more petsploits with you throughout December and the new year! If you want to make use of this offer contact us here on our contact page or through Facebook. Remember - £10 of every session goes straight to the EDCH who do incredible work in Edinburgh nursing and rehoming super special little fellas like Otto and Jack. For your £25 you get a 1hr shoot and two 10x8 prints. Dates subject to availability.
Big thanks again to Julie, Jack and Otto! You guys were amazing!
Whilst we were up north shooting Finlay's first birthday cake smash, we were also hired to shoot his best friend's one too. Harris is a month and 13 days younger than Finlay but we thought we'd let him have his cake early.
We had a fun-filled weekend celebrating Finlay's first birthday. This smiley boy made our job a piece of cake (pun intended) and made us love our job even more (if that's possible!) We started nice and early with this bubbly boy who is on the verge of walking all by himself. It was lovely to see his wonderful parents, Louise and Paul, give him a helping hand as he found his footing.
