Another successful shoot for our Edinburgh Cat Cafe PR campaign. As part of this particularly tough job we've been given we are forced to go to our nearest and dearest and take pictures and 'gulp' - sometimes play with their cats. It's a tough life. We are delighted to introduce you all to Sookie and Sheldon. Two gorgeous wee models belonging to our good friends Sarah and Rodney. They both thankfully were in a very playful mood. Sookie was very pleased with all the attention, Sheldon came around by the end of the shoot. Both make fantastic subjects with lots of cuddles and in between shots and some cat biscuits of course. You all will no doubt be seeing a lot of Sookie and Sheldon along with Malka and Kaira on #theedinburghcatcafe #facebook page in the coming days and weeks. Don't forget to keep and eye on the Facebook page as they will be starting their crowd-source funding project soon - https://www.facebook.com/edinburghcatcafe?fref=ts And also don't forget to stay abreast of happenings over at the Edinburgh Cat Protection League who are working closely with Anna and Marta at the Edinburgh Cat Cafe to make their dream a reality - https://www.facebook.com/TheEdinburghCatProtectionLeague?fref=ts
![]() You may well know Anna and Marta from the article in the Edinburgh Evening News about the two sisters and their exciting project aimed at bringing Scotland's first Cat Cafe to Edinburgh. We had a wonderful morning of coffee, pastries and cat chat. Their dedication and love for cats really shone through in our conversation and I think it's safe to say we will be first in the queue on opening day. The girls are starting a crowd funding campaign in September and we hope they quickly reach their target. It was great to hear what their plans for the cafe are, the cats that live there are going to be very lucky. Malka and Kaira (our cats) very much enjoyed Anna and Marta's visit, especially as the Da Bird was brought out and they could demonstrate their acrobatic skills - Malka and Kaira that is! We're really looking forward to getting started on all the promotional shoots for the grand opening. You can keep up to date with their page by visiting The Edinburgh Cat Cafe on Facebook and if you want to donate money you can do so by visiting their site on indiegogo when it opens in September. |
